Who We Are

Evergreen Baptist was first called First Baptist when the church was established by Reverend D. A. Morgan in 1962.

Evergreen is the mother and grandmother church of numerous churches in the New York area, such as Bronx Baptist and Wake Eden Baptist Church.

The congregation is multi-cultural, ethnic, bilingual and members are from all over the Caribbean including Puerto Rico, Columbia, Costa Rica, Panama, North America and the Philippines.
